The effects of media sharing on existing playlist...?

Hi,

Our company has recently started media sharing with another publisher.

Said publisher has thousands of videos and has complained that managing newly shared videos is tough.

Specifically, they have pre-established playlists and they say that when they approve new shared media from us,

they lose the ability to sort them in any way in the existing playlists (our new media bubbles to the top and they cannot control it - but they would like to).

We were asked by this publisher to share the media with an availability date established (at the present we have nothing selected for any of our videos on the availability tab).

Can someone please help define:

A) How shared media can be sorted when dealing with existing playlists that already contain non-shared content and

B) If and how the availability date affects shared media?

and in general any best-practices for managing shared media.

Thanks,

Jenn

Re: The effects of media sharing on existing playlist...?

Update:

Incase this helps anyone in a similar situation - We've decided to apply our company name as a tag in all of our media.

When sharing, this metadata will also get passed along and the publishers can use this unique tag to establish smart playlists.

Not the level of control some might hope for, but better then nothing for now.
